Senior High School studes on OJT to LGU Bayog
Senior High School students of Bobuan National High School and Bayog National High School underwent OJT Orientation from LGU Bayog through Mr. Virgilio Q. Zamora, Municipal Administrator and all LGU Bayog Department Heads.
Senior High School (SHS) students from Bayog National High School (BNHS) and Bobuan National High School (BNHS) spent their on-job-training (OJT) at the municipal government offices of Bayog from January 24 – March 28, 2018. A total of 87 BNHS students were immersed to the various job rules in the different offices where 31 of them belong to Section Silver who are taking General Academic Strand (GAS); 34 were from Section Copper who are concentrating on Computer System Servicing (CSS); and 22 from Section Diamond who are focused on Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-Computer Programming.
On the other hand, BoNHS did the same to their 18 SHS major in Agriculture. They were exposed to the jobs of LGU personnel assigned at Glupa Gulian Agro Tourism Eco Park headed by Mark Alester Jimenez, MENRO like Vermi culture (vermi culture substrate composed of rice hulls, rice straw, waste material of livestock and coconut); bio-processing of saw dust, rice straw, rice hulls and livestock waste materials, multiplier farm with domestic animals, wet buffalos, cattle, goat and swine; Cultural Park (cater meetings and conventions); and domestic animals (wet buffalos, cattle, goat and swine).
In addition to that, BoNHS studes also received trainings on bricket, semen collection of cattle, bonsai making, and mushroom production/plant propagation, natural and asexual breeding/propagation. All of them spent 10 days on their immersion which is equivalent to 80 hours last January 2018.
