LAMARE TWIN FALLS

Another stunner hidden beneath the towering mountains of Bayog is this 30-feet falls in Barangay Lamare. There are two possible ways to reach the area. One, you have to take a 2-kilometer river trail involving balancing on rocks and going against rapids. Two, you can take a Pilot Road carved along the shoulder of the ridges surrounding the falls.

For you to get the full experience, it is better you take the river trail on your way to the falls and the Pilot Road on your way back. The Pilot Road trail offers a panoramic vista of the wide plains of Lamare and the neighboring barangays. Writing credits to Alvin Rex M. Lucero.

HOW TO GET THERE?

From Pagadian City, ride a Van to Bayog at Pagadian IBT. Fare is P120.00. If you are from Zamboanga City, you can get to Bayog though Buug, Diplahan or Imelda. From there, you can ride a Habal Habal to Bayog.

Upon reaching Bayog Van Terminal, ride a Habal-Habal to Barangay Lamare. Ask the Driver to drop you exactly in Purok 5. Ask a local to guide you to Lamare Twin Falls or you may coordinate with the Local Government Unit of Bayog. No standard rates for guides.
