Bayog rolls out 2018 LITES En SHADES
The Municipal Government of Bayog rolled out its 2018 LITES En SHADES Program through a service caravan to 11 clustered barangays from August 30-November 7, 2018.
The dubbed LITES En SHADES stands for the Law Enforcement, Infrastructure Development, Tourism, Employment Generation and Facilitation, Sports Development, Environmental Protection, Solid Waste Management, Health, Agriculture, Disaster Preparedness, Education, Social Services. This encapsulates the present 12-point agenda of this LGU for its excellence in governance of which was named before as LETS GO SHADES.
The services that were offered during the weekly caravan were medical and dental, employment facilitation thru the PESO (Public Employment Service Office), civil registry services (registration of births, marriages and deaths, petition for change of name & other clerical errors and change of gender), registration of large cattle through the Treasurer’s Office, animal vaccination & distribution of vegetable seeds through the Municipal Agriculturist Office, distribution of used clothing and packed foods through the MSWD and free haircut services through Bayog Chamber of Commerce.
There were also pairs of slippers and school uniforms distributed among selected elementary schools. Such fund for the items were collected from the Alay Lakad.
Aside from mentioned services, interpersonal activities were also conducted such as youth symposium and the 12-Point Agenda advocacy campaign.
The estimated number of beneficiaries for each cluster reached more than 200. Meanwhile, there were almost 700 benefited during the caravan held at the municipal gymnasium.
