Bayog Pupil wins Champion in Nat'l Math Tilt
Shilloh Dane S. Rodriguez of Bayog Central Elementary School (BCES-SPED) won as champion in the National Math Olympiad 2018-2019 during the 16th National Science Quest held at the Teacher's Camp, Baguio City on February 8-10, 2019. She bested 52 contestants in the Grade 2 level individual category.
On the other hand, Rodriguez's team in the Group Competition composed of two other contestants from the region landed 4th place.
Rodriguez was invited during the LGU Flag Raising Ceremony on February 18, and she expressed her thanks for the support from her coach Mrs. Loreta J. Catubay, BCES SPED teacher; the BCES SPED Parents Teachers Association through Engr. Jeremias E. Florida; Dr. Minda S. Castillo, Principal III; LGU Bayog; and her parents.
“It is my great honour and privilege to represent the municipality and to make our town exist in the map of the Philippines through this competition," Rodriguez said.
