Bayog excels in 2018 Regional Disaster Preparedness
Bayog lands the 1st place spot with score of 20 and an adjectival rating of COMPLIANT in the 2018 Disaster Preparedness Index (RDPI).
The RDPI is using the data collected during the 2018 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment in order to determine the level of compliance of the local government units (including cities and municipalities in Zamboanga Peninsula) on the basic requirements of the Republic Act 7160 and other rules and regulations viz-a-vis the performance of other LGUs.
Further, the index basically quantifies the data submitted by the LGUs during the initial phase of the SGLG assessment.
Bayog ties with the municipality of Dumalinao, next are those scored 19.5 (Kumalarang, Mahayag, Molave, and Imelda); Dipolog City is on the 3rd spot with 19.25 score and the rest followed.
DILG will recognize the top performing LGUs in the 2018 Regional Disaster preparedness before the year ends. - Bernadine A. Gabawan, Municipal Information Officer
