Bayog launched Tech4Ed Center
The Municipality of Bayog in partnership with DICT (Department of Information and Communications Technology) launched Bayog Tech4Ed Centre - "Ang Computer Hub ng Bayan" yesterday, January 21, 2019 with the presence of the local officials headed by Mayor Jun Babasa, department heads and key officials, DepEd representatives and DICT personalities: Roderick H. Cruz, PFT Lead, ZdS Province, DICT MC1, who gave the message in behalf of DICT and Tech4Ed Updates, Juvy Lawan, Project Coordinator, DICT MC1 , Project Presentation.
This Tech4Ed Centre is located at the 3rd floor of the Municipal Government Building managed by the Municipal Economic Enterprise Office under Mr. Pablito A. Matias.
This DICT Project provides access points for individuals and communities to bridge the digital and education divide. It promotes grassroots developments and opportunities for inclusive growth and poverty education, skill training, telehealth, job markets, and business portals.
Moreover, Tech4Ed Technology Empowerment is for Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Economic Development - this is for easy access for Education (ALS, TESDA, eLibrary, Storybooks), Entrepreneurship (Go-Negosyo, e-Market, LEAP, Agri), Online Government Services (NBI Clearance, Passport Appointment, PRC ID Registration/Renewal, Birth/Death/CENOMAR Certificate Request & Other Government Services), and Skills Training for Online Jobs. - Bernadine A.
