BUKO FALLS

This 15-feet waterfall is a perfect spot to commune with nature while testing the strength of your ankles. Before you can reach the place, you need to trek traversing a combination of river and forest trails. The river trail is quite challenging as you have to hop from boulder to boulder, in effect offering a good stretch of your lower extremities.

After more that an hour of snaking through mossy riverbeds, a cascade of cool and clear water will unfold behind the rocks. What makes this waterfall unique is the coolness of its waters gushing out from the heartland of Bayog’s unexploited woodlands. If the waters will tempt you, the lagoon created by the waterdrop is deep enough to warrant a jump. (Writing credits to Alvin Rex M. Lucero.)
